Employment and Training

Enhance Care proudly participates in the Work for the Dole Program and provides an opportunity for unemployed people to obtain skills in a work-like environment with a view to assisting them to obtain employment. These activities are done in conjunction with HELP Enterprises and other Job Search providers funded by the Commonwealth government.

Enhance will commence a new project in the coming months - Enhance Recruit which will operate as a not for profit social enterprise recruitment service.

Enhance Care from time to time has openings in our office for volunteers. Volunteers first complete an application form and then undergo an interview to assess their skills and suitability to work within the Enhance Care team. If successful you will be provided with a Position Description and given introductory training before commencing.

All staff and volunteers of Enhance Care are required to hold or be able to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children) and are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.

As we value volunteers, you will be treated the same as any employee of Enhance and will be provided with support and training to allow you to develop or enhance your skills.

Enhance Care has strong policies and procedures relating to workplace harassment or workplace bullying and does not tolerate either in any form. As an organisation that values diversity, we welcome all people to apply to be a volunteer with us, however please be aware that volunteer opportunities are limited to ensure we provide the best experience possible.
